WINE CHOICE REACHES NEW HEIGHTS AT THE HUB

Ever gone into a bar wanting a glass of wine but found you had to buy the whole bottle or opt for a glass of the house? If the answer is yes, then head down to The Hub in St Ives.

Thanks to the appliance of science, The Hub is one of only a handful of bars in the South West to have had a La Verre de Vin system fitted, enabling the St Ives waterfront Bar and Brasserie to offer eight quality white and red wines in addition to a Rose, two sparkling and two Champagnes by the glass.

According to Hub owner, Richard Boon the arrival of the Verre Du Vin system – which re-seals bottles enabling them to be served by the glass - gives customers greater choice than ever before to enjoy fantastic wines without having to commit to buy a bottle.

“The arrival of the Verre Du Vin system means that our ‘by the glass’ wine offering has expanded significantly, giving customers much greater choice and flexibility, to indulge their love of wine rather than have to stick to one bottle because that’s the only quantity on offer,” said Richard.

Examples of the ‘’by the glass’ wines on offer include a White Rioja - Marquis de Caceres, a Californian Hawkes Peak, through to Lauren Perrier Pink Champagne.

“Along with our food and cocktail menu’s, we believe the Verre Du Vin system will help cement our position as one of the leading social venues in Cornwall  is one of many new additions to the Hub this summer as well as our new menu and our renowned cocktail menu,” added Richard.
